What reports does BreederBuddy include?
BreederBuddy includes five major reports: Puppy Progress (real-time puppy inventory with status and buyer tracking), Sales by Puppy Traits (multi-dimensional breakdown by breed, color, size, coat, sex, or litter), Customer Locations (state-by-state buyer geography), Birthday Report (placed puppy birthdays with mailing addresses), and Income Report (gross sales, fees, taxes, and net income with transaction-level detail). The live dashboard adds seven additional at-a-glance widgets.
Can I see which coat colors or traits are selling best?
Yes. The Sales by Puppy Traits report lets you pick any dimension — breed, size, color genetics, dog type, coat, sex, or litter — and see a percentage breakdown of what's reserving and selling within any date range. It also shows a live feed of the 8 most recent status changes so you can spot trends as they happen.
How does the income report work?
The income report pulls data from both Stripe payments and internal invoices and generates a summary of gross sales, processing fees, taxes collected (broken down by tax rate), and net income for any date range you choose. You can expand individual transactions to see line-item detail, and export the full report to CSV for your accountant or tax prep.
What is the customer locations report?
The customer locations report breaks down every contact in your program by US state — showing you how many buyers and non-buyers you have in each state. It's useful for understanding where your program's reach is strongest and which states you haven't penetrated yet.
Can I export reports?
Yes. The Puppy Progress, Sales by Puppy Traits, and Birthday reports export to CSV. Sales by Puppy Traits and Puppy Progress also export to PDF. The income report exports to CSV with full transaction detail. Birthday report CSV is formatted for label printing or mail merge.
Who can see the income report?
The income report is restricted to the account owner only. Other team members with access to your BreederBuddy account can see operational reports but financial data stays private to the primary account holder.
