What does puppy waitlist software actually do?
It replaces the spreadsheet-plus-inbox system: applications come in through your form, approved families land on an ordered list per litter, deposits and balances are tracked on each family, and picking order, contracts, invoices, and payments all live on the same record. When a litter is born, you work down the list instead of reconstructing it.
How does BreederBuddy handle deposits?

Can I set a deadline for a waitlist deposit?
Yes. What happens to a buyer who misses their deposit deadline?
Nothing is deleted. They move to an Expired section at the bottom of the waitlist and drop out of the line, so everyone below them moves up. One click restores them to their old position with a fresh deadline, and you can give any buyer more time, or take the deadline off them entirely, whenever you want.
How do I know who still owes a deposit?
BreederBuddy emails you one summary listing every buyer who hasn't paid, rather than a separate email per person. You choose whether it arrives daily, weekly, or the moment somebody misses their deadline, and you can set that for your whole account or per waitlist.
Can I reorder my waitlist?
Yes, picking order is drag-and-drop. You can also hold reserved slots (for a keep-back puppy or a returning family) without attaching an invoice to them.
Do buyers see the waitlist?
Each family gets a private buyer portal where they see their own position, invoices, contracts to sign, and puppy photos. They sign in with a one-time email code. No one sees anyone else's information.
