# Content Manager

> Choose which dogs, puppies, and litters show on your website. Publish or hide them with one toggle, publish puppies in bulk with Publish All on a litter, fix a greyed-out Public checkbox on a litter, and copy a buyer portal login link for your website.

Content Manager is one place to control what's public on your website. Search every dog and litter, then flip a toggle to publish or hide it — no need to open each record.

***

## What You Can Do Here

* See how many dogs and litters are live on your website
* Publish or hide any dog, puppy, or litter with one toggle
* Publish a litter and all of its puppies at once (and its parents, if you like)
* Filter by visibility, dog type, puppy status, sex, litter, and tags
* Copy a buyer portal login link to put on your website

## How It Works

### Publishing or Hiding a Dog

1. Click [**Content Manager**](https://app.breederbuddy.com/display) in the left menu, under **Your Online Presence**.
2. Under **Manage what's public**, make sure the **Dogs** tab is selected (top right of that section).
3. Find the dog. Type a name in **Search**, or use the filters.
4. Click the toggle on the dog's card. When it says **Public**, the dog is on your website. When it says **Hidden**, it isn't. You'll see a confirmation, and the **Live dogs** count at the top updates.

List view has the same toggle on each row.

### Publishing a Whole Litter

1. In **Manage what's public**, click the **Litters** tab.
2. Find the litter and click **Publish all**. The publish window opens.
3. If the sire or dam is hidden, BreederBuddy offers checkboxes to publish them too, so their profiles link correctly from the litter page. Tick the ones you want.
4. Confirm, and you'll see a message saying how many were published.

To publish or hide just the litter (not its puppies), use the litter's own toggle. To manage puppies one by one, click the **Puppies** row under the litter to expand it, then use each puppy's toggle.

### Adding a Buyer Portal Login to Your Website

Scroll to **Add Buyer Portal Login to Your Website**. Buyers sign in with the email they used to apply, and BreederBuddy sends them a one-time code to confirm it's them.

1. Next to **Recommended website link**, click **Copy**. This login page is specific to your program.
2. Add that link as a button in your website's header or footer.
3. Click **Preview** to see the login page your buyers will land on.

Prefer a generic login page? Copy the **Shared fallback link** instead.

## Tips & Common Questions

> **Can I do this from the dog or litter record instead?**
>
> Yes — the same setting is the **Public?** checkbox when you edit a dog or litter. Content Manager just lets you change many at once.

> **The Public? checkbox on my litter is greyed out. Why can't I tick it?**
>
> The litter is in view mode. Click **Edit Details** on the litter's **Details** tab, tick **Public?**, and save. Or skip that and use the litter's toggle here in **Content Manager**, which works without opening the litter.

> **Can I publish lots of puppies at once?**
>
> Yes, a litter at a time. On the **Litters** tab, click **Publish All** on the litter to publish it and every puppy in it in one step. There isn't a button to publish every dog in your account at once.

> **Does a public litter show as available?**
>
> Making a litter public puts it on your website. Whether it reads as available comes from its puppies — any puppy marked Available makes the litter available.

> **I archived a dog but left it Public. Will it show?**
>
> On a BreederBuddy website, no — archiving keeps a dog off your site even when Public is on. Archived dogs appear in their own **Archived Dogs** list at the bottom of the Dogs tab. If your website uses the BreederBuddy WordPress plugin, archived public dogs may still appear (for example in a past puppies section), depending on how your site is set up.

> **Which website does this control?**
>
> Your BreederBuddy website, or a WordPress site connected with the BreederBuddy plugin. If you don't have a website with us yet, see [Get a Breeder Website](https://breederbuddy.com/docs/features/website-marketing/get-website.md).
