# Sharing & Embedding Your Forms

> Share your puppy application form with buyers: copy a direct link, embed the form on your website (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace), customize the submit button, test it, and print a blank PDF. Applicants don't need a login.

Your forms in BreederBuddy are your application forms — you build them in **Applications**, then share them with families as a link or right on your website. Anyone can fill one out without a BreederBuddy login, and every submission lands back in **Applications**.

## What You Can Do Here

* Copy a direct link to your form to send by email, text, or social media
* Embed your form on any website that accepts HTML
* Change the submit button's text and color
* Test your form before sharing it
* Print a blank copy of your form as a PDF

## How It Works

### Getting Your Form Link

1. Click [**Applications**](https://app.breederbuddy.com/applications) in the left menu.
2. Find your form and click **Manage**. The form opens on its **Form Builder** tab.
3. Click **Share Application Form** near the top of the page. The **Share Your Application Form** window opens.
4. Click **Share a Direct Link** to expand it.
5. Click **Copy** next to the link. You'll see a "Copied to clipboard!" message.
6. Paste the link wherever you like — an email, a text, a social post, or a button on your website.

### Embedding Your Form on Your Website

1. Follow steps 1–3 above.
2. Click **Embed on Your Website** to expand it.
3. Click **Copy** next to the code. You'll see a "Copied to clipboard!" message.
4. In your website builder (WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, etc.), add an HTML or embed block where you want the form, and paste the code.
5. Publish your page and open it to check that the form appears. It automatically resizes to fit your page.

Want the form built right into a BreederBuddy website instead? Open **Built-In on Your BreederBuddy Website** in the same window and click **Reach out**.

### Customizing the Submit Button

1. Open your form with **Manage** and click the **Details** tab.
2. Click **Edit Details** (top right of that section).
3. Fill in **Submit Button Text** (leave it blank to keep the default, "Submit Application") and pick a **Submit Button Color**.
4. Click **Save**. You'll see an "Application Form updated" message, and your form uses the new button.

### Testing Your Form

Open your form with **Manage** and click the **Demo Form** tab. This is your live form — fill it out and submit to see exactly what families see. A demo submission is a real submission: it appears in your **Submissions** tab and sends your usual notifications.

### Printing a Blank Form

On the **Form Builder** tab, click **Print PDF** (top right) to download a printable blank copy of your form.

## Tips & Common Questions

> **Do applicants need a BreederBuddy account?**
>
> No — anyone with the link can fill out and submit your form.

> **What does the applicant see after they submit?**
>
> A confirmation screen that says "Thanks, your submission is in." They also get an **Application Submission Receipt** email. You can add your own message to it in [**Communications**](https://app.breederbuddy.com/communications).

> **Which fields does my form need?**
>
> Name, Email, and Phone Number are required so BreederBuddy can create the contact. To fill in the contact's address when you approve someone, click **Add address fields** on the **Form Builder** tab.

> **An applicant says the form won't submit. What's wrong?**
>
> The form runs a quick spam check. Ad blockers and some privacy extensions block it, and the applicant will see a message saying so. Ask them to turn the blocker off for that page and reload, or try a different browser.

> **I already embedded an older link. Does it still work?**
>
> Yes — the older-style link is listed under **Share a Direct Link** as the legacy link, and it still works for existing embeds.

> **Will my form show up in Google search?**
>
> No — your form page is hidden from search results. Share the link or embed it on your website so families can find it.
